Salman Khan has started his own YouTube channel, giving fans a new place to follow him outside films, television and social media. The actor launched the page on Friday, October 9, and it gained over 14,000 subscribers in about an hour.
How Salman Khan announced the channel
Salman Khan shared the news through Instagram Stories. He posted a short video in which he recites the alphabet before explaining the idea behind the page. His message hinted that the channel will not stick to one type of content.
What the channel offers so far
The bio is short and simple. It reads, “Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian. This is my official channel.”At the time of the announcement, the page had 10 Shorts. The first uploads are brief and light, rather than long videos, which gives fans an early idea of how he may use the platform.
Salman Khan has not shared a content schedule yet. Still, fans are curious about what comes next. The channel could carry personal updates, glimpses from shoots, promotional material and other content that usually does not reach his film releases or TV appearances. It also gives him a direct video platform, at a time when many actors use their channels for material beyond regular promotions.

Salman Khan is not the first film star to build a presence there. Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Archana Puran Singh and Farah Khan post vlogs, travel clips, fitness videos, cooking content and behind-the-scenes footage. South stars such as Allu Arjun and Mohanlal also run official channels.The platform is just as important for television personalities. Dipika Kakar, Shoaib Ibrahim, Jannat Zubair and Anushka Sen have built large audiences with lifestyle videos and vlogs alongside their regular work.
Salman Khan’s current projects
The launch comes while Salman is busy with work. He is hosting ‘Bigg Boss 20’, which is his 15th season as host of the reality show.In films, he will next be seen in ‘Maatrubhumi’, earlier titled ‘Battle of Galwan’. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, it also stars Chitrangda Singh. A new release date is yet to be announced after the delay.Salman Khan is also part of filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally’s project ‘SVC63’, reportedly titled ‘Monster’, which also stars Nayanthara. It is currently set for an Eid 2027 release.
