WPI inflation up at 2.1% on food, metal prices

NEW DELHI: : WPI inflation inched up in Feb, led by rise in food and mineral product prices. Experts said elevated energy prices triggered by West Asia conflict could exert upward pressure. Inflation, as measured by wholesale price index rose annual 2.1% in Feb, higher than previous month’s 1.8%.
