In a troubling turn of events, reality TV personality Taylor Frankie Paul has taken legal action against her estranged partner, Dakota Mortensen, seeking a protective order. She has accused him of a series of alarming assaults, including violently slamming her head against a dashboard and kicking her while she was down.

Since the beginning of the year, the two of them have been involved in multiple domestic violence cases. As per the latest reports, Paul filed the protective order against Mortensen and has also alleged that he abused her.

PEOPLE reported recently that the reality show star filed an official protective order against Mortensen on April 7. In the official filing, she listed out 4 separate instances where Mortensen had allegedly abused her. She cited that she was subjected to “assault, harassment, and stalking” at Mortensen’s hand, and detailed multiple incidents where he had physically hurt her. One of her instances is allegedly dated back to the end of February this year, when Dakota had allegedly visited her home demanding to talk. They had walked outside to avoid waking the children in the house and had gotten into his car.Paul alleges that Mortensen drove away from the premises even after she protested that she did not wish to go. The report added that “the parties argued, and Dakota assaulted Taylor by slamming her head against the dashboard of his truck and striking her knee and elbow.” The 31-year-old had also provided photos of bruises as proof of the alleged assault.

A stalking incident was also reported in the filing, dating back to February this year. She alleged in the report that Mortensen got her initials tattooed on the inside of his lip. He sent her the photo of the tattoo as well. A statement from the report reads, “My initials are now permanently tattooed on the body of a man who has been abusive toward and possessive of me.” She also alleged that around the same time, Mortensen had also visited her home in the early hours of the day as their son, Ever, had been having trouble sleeping at his father’s home.The filing also details another instance from May last year. She cited that the two of them had been arguing at her residence, and even though she had asked Mortensen to leave, he had refused to do so. Later, she had lost her footing, had fallen over, and had been allegedly kicked by Mortensen. The TV star also provided photos of bruises from this instance as well.
