If the movie isn’t good, beat me with slippers. My film should run only if it is genuinely good. What I’m talking about is Vijay Sethupathi’s great performance.”The event turned lighter when producer Thanu casually announced that the film would release in August. Mysskin immediately laughed playfully, mocking the film’s delayed release, and replied, “Oh my God… really, sir? Please announce the date! Wait… Suriya’s film is releasing on August 14, sir!” Smiling at the reaction, Thanu simply responded, “I only said August, not the date.”
