Reese Witherspoon recently opened up about how she and her old-time co-star Alanna Ubach with whom she has shared the screen on multiple occasions. Witherspoon and Alanna previously worked together on the famed ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘Freeway.’

While attending one of the latest premieres for the thriller show, ‘Lucky’, Witherspoon got candid about what it was like to meet Ubach after so long and how it was to work with her again after their previous two projects.She shared, “Alanna Ubach is my girl. We’ve known each other since way back. Before we did Legally Blonde, we did a movie called Freeway together. And she’s my girl. I love her.” She also added, “She’s always got my back. We just love each other”, while praising Ubach’s performance in ‘Euphoria.’ For the unversed, Alanna Ubach played the role of Sydney Sweeney’s character, Cassie’s mother on the hit show.Along with ‘Freeway’ and ‘Legally Blonde’, where both of the actresses appear and play the roles of close friends on the big screen, Ubach came back for another project together with ‘Lucky.’ While Witherspoon backs the show as a producer, Ubach appeared in one of the episodes of the newly released limited series.
About ‘Lucky’
The limited crime thriller series stars names such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, and Clifton Collins Jr. It follows Taylor-Joy in the lead as Lucky, a con artist who is currently on the run from the law, while also trying to fend for herself against a crime lord who is hellbent on finding her. The series chronicles her time as she tries to save herself from the mob boss who wishes to kill her, while avoiding being incarcerated by FBI agents who are right on her tail as well.‘Luck’ is available to watch on Apple TV. The first two episodes are available on the streaming platform for streaming, while the remainder of the episodes will be released online every Wednesday.
