As per several media reports, on Saturday morning, a two-year-old girl died after falling into Lake Pichola from a window at a lakeside heritage hotel. Police informed that the family of three was travelling from Delhi to Udaipur for a vacation. They were staying at Hotel Jagat Niwas, located on the banks of the iconic lake Pichola. The tragic incident The incident took place while the parents were at the hotel’s second-floor dining area and were enjoying their breakfast. As they reportedly moved ahead to collect food, the toddler slipped through a nearby window and fell into the lake below. As per staff and bystanders, people rushed to help and save the little girl. After much difficulty, she was found and taken to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared her dead.
