CBSE begins phase-wise declaration of KVS, NVS Tier-II recruitment exam results; check posts covered in first phase
The KVS NVS is a national- level exam conducted to fill a total of 15,762 vacancies for TGT, PGT, and PRT posts

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the phase-wise declaration of results for the Tier-II recruitment examination held for various teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results as they are released by the board. The results are being published in stages instead of being released for all posts at once. CBSE has confirmed that the results for four posts will be announced on August 17, while the outcome for the remaining positions will follow over the next few days.

Results for four posts to be released on August 17

The first phase of the result declaration covers two teaching posts and two non-teaching positions. Candidates who appeared for these examinations should keep their login credentials ready. The posts covered in the August 17 result announcement are:Teaching posts

  • PGT (Computer Science)
  • TGT (Computer Science)

Non-teaching posts

  • Stenographer Grade-I
  • Finance Officer

CBSE has said that the results for other posts will be uploaded progressively. Candidates will therefore need to monitor the official result portal rather than expect all results to be published simultaneously.

How candidates can check their CBSE KVS, NVS Tier-II result

Once a result is made available, candidates can access it online through the designated examination portal, examinationservices.nic.in. They will be required to enter their registration number and password to log in and view their result.Candidates should verify their login details before attempting to access the portal. Keeping the registration information and password readily available can help avoid unnecessary delays, particularly when the result portal experiences heavy traffic following an announcement. After logging in, candidates should download the result and retain a copy for future recruitment-related requirements.

Interview call letters to be issued to shortlisted candidates

The recruitment process will not end with the declaration of the Tier-II result. Candidates who qualify for the next stage will receive interview call letters through their login on the application portal.CBSE said the interview call letters will be issued after the schedule is finalised in consultation with the concerned organisations. Candidates who are eligible to exercise preferences for the organisations will also be required to submit those preferences through the portal. This makes it important for shortlisted candidates to regularly check their application login and not rely solely on general notifications.

Stenographer candidates face a separate skill test

Candidates who qualify for the Stenographer Grade-I position will have another stage to clear. CBSE has stated that the skill test call letter for shortlisted candidates will be made available through the application portal once the skill test schedule is finalised.Stenographer candidates should therefore track updates closely after the result is announced. The release of the Tier-II result does not by itself mark the completion of the selection process for the post.

EMRS Tier-II results to be announced separately

The recruitment results for candidates who appeared for the Tier-II examination for Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) will be announced separately.According to the CBSE update, EMRS results will be made available through the official EMRS or National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) platform. Candidates who appeared for the EMRS examination should therefore follow the concerned official sources for updates rather than the KVS and NVS result schedule.
