David Harbour may have just shared a major spoiler from the upcoming Marvel movie, ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ The actor recently gave an interview, sharing his thoughts and opinions on playing the Red Guardian in the superhero film and how everything has been for him. However, during one of the questions, Harbour allegedly dropped a cryptic message about ‘Doomsday.’
David Harbour shares a possible spoiler from ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
During one of his recent interviews with Variety, Harbour was asked to share one single line from the upcoming Marvel project. For his answer, he quickly transformed his persona into the Red Guardian, taking on a Russian accent, and said, “You … are Tony Stark.” While it has not been confirmed whether the line is actually from the film or something that the actor used to throw fans off, many people have already started discussing possible theories online.Possibly, the line could either point to Tony Stark’s return to the MCU franchise, or it could mean the character also exists in their timeline and that the Red Guardian recognised the similarity between the two.For the unversed, Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man dies at the end of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ after saving the world from Thanos. He is returning to Marvel in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ as Dr Doom/Victor Von Doom, the main antagonist of the superhero film. A new trailer was recently shared with the world during the D23 Expo a couple of days ago, showing glimpses of a much darker theme being explored with the upcoming movie. In the trailer, fans see a glimpse of Dr Doom’s power, as Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm explains that something happened to him that made him this way, further commenting on how she knew he was affected but never thought he would be this “broken.” The trailer also shows Dr Doom saying what is set to be one of the most iconic lines from the film: “Hell answers to me.”
About ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
The upcoming superhero film is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and will bring together a lot of iconic characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This includes the New Avengers, Fantastic Four, Shang-Chi, and X-Men, along with Shuri and Captain America. The movie also teased that Chris Hemsworth will be returning as Thor, while Anthony Mackie will reprise his role as Captain America. Chris Evans will also appear alongside the group as Steve Rogers.
