Emraan Hashmi andDisha Patani starrer ‘Awarapan 2 ‘ continues to hold its ground at the box office as it enters Day 10. After a strong first week and a healthy second weekend, the sequel has already crossed the Rs. 136 crore India net mark and Rs. 190 crore worldwide milestone. Looking further ahead, the film’s second-week performance suggests a realistic shot at touching Rs. 150 crore net domestically by the time it wraps its second week, a strong showing for a film already well into its theatrical run.
‘Awarapan 2’ Week 1 earnings
The sequel opened with Rs. 22 crore net on Day 1, followed by a major jump to Rs. 33.75 crore on Day 2 and Rs. 26 crore on Day 3. The collections then settled at Rs. 9.25 crore on Day 4, Rs. 9.75 crore on Day 5, Rs. 6.75 crore on Day 6 and Rs. 6 crore on Day 7. The first week ended with an India net collection of Rs. 113.50 crore, while the India gross stood at Rs. 135.37 crore.The overseas market also contributed steadily. The film earned Rs. 2.50 crore on Day 1, Rs. 5 crore on Day 2, Rs. 4 crore on Day 3, Rs. 2.50 crore on Day 4, Rs. 2 crore on Day 5, Rs. 1.50 crore on Day 6 and Rs. 1 crore on Day 7. Its overseas gross reached Rs. 26.30 crore, taking the worldwide gross to Rs. 161.67 crore after seven days.
‘Awarapan 2’ Day 8 and Day 9 earnings
The film picked up momentum again over the second weekend. On Day 8, ‘Awarapan 2’ collected Rs. 5.75 crore net across 9,858 shows, taking its India net total to Rs. 119.25 crore and India gross to Rs. 142.21 crore. Its overseas earnings stood at Rs. 1 crore, pushing the worldwide gross to Rs. 169.51 crore.Day 9 brought a stronger jump, with the film adding Rs. 8.25 crore net across 10,008 shows. This took the domestic net tally to Rs. 127.50 crore and India gross to Rs. 152.11 crore. The film added another Rs. 1.50 crore overseas, taking its overseas gross to Rs. 28.80 crore and worldwide gross to Rs. 180.91 crore.

According to Sacnilk, as of Day 10, ‘Awarapan 2’ was screened across 13,629 shows and has collected a net of Rs. 7.05 crore.This brings total India gross collections to Rs. 162.70 crore and total India net to Rs. 136.50 crore so far, by the end of the day.On the overseas front, the film collected Rs. 1.50 crore, pushing the total overseas gross to Rs. 30.30 crore and the worldwide gross to Rs. 193.00 crore.
