Married couple, young son found dead with gunshot wounds after Los Angeles house fire
A married couple and their young son were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds after a fire broke out at their home in Maywood, Los Angeles County, early Saturday, authorities said.According to the New York Post, citing police, the deaths appeared to be linked to a domestic violence incident, with investigators believing the boy’s father may have been the shooter.The fire was reported at around 2:30 am on September 5, prompting a response from deputies from the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.After firefighters brought the blaze under control, emergency responders searched the house for possible victims. Three people were found unresponsive inside a bedroom — a man and a woman in their late 40s and a boy under the age of 10.All three had apparent gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
