Director Rajkumar Periasamy has added a major honour to his filmography after winning the National Award for Best Direction for ‘Amaran‘. The filmmaker received the prestigious honour at the 72nd National Film Awards ceremony, where President Droupadi Murmu presented the award on September 22. ‘Amaran’ also earned a National Award for Best Music Direction for G V Prakash Kumar’s background score.
