Archana Puran Singh’s family buys another bungalow in Mumbai, Madh Island after Parmeet Sethi said Youtube pays them three times more than films and TV |
Archana Puran Singh and her family have added another bungalow to their collection of homes in Madh Island. The actor-turned-vlogger recently featured the new property on her YouTube channel, with her husband Parmeet Sethi, sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, and their family members giving viewers a detailed look at the house. The new bungalow is located only a few metres away from the family’s existing home, where Archana and Parmeet live with their sons and their respective partners. Archana’s mother and Parmeet’s father are also part of the same household. The family additionally owns the house next door, which Aaryamann is currently renovating for himself and his fiance Yogita Bihani. In their latest vlog, the family explored the new property together and also spent some quality time in its gazebo, where they organised a small picnic. Parmeet revealed that the new bungalow is almost identical in size to their main house and offers a similar amount of space. The two properties also appear to share a similar architectural design. The two-storey home has a spacious living area and kitchen on the ground floor. The family pointed out that the kitchen is particularly suitable for filming their food content, given how well it has been designed.Yogita also highlighted how differently a family of vloggers approaches setting up a new home. She said that while most people would first think about where their furniture would go, their immediate concern was where the cameras could be positioned. The family also began discussing how the bungalow could double up as a workspace. Yogita could use it to shoot her videos, while Samiksha could conduct her yoga classes from the property. Archana came up with another idea — turning one of the rooms into a walk-in closet for the three women in the family. The bungalow features three bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom. Several large windows allow natural light to flood the interiors, while the property is surrounded by greenery. There is a garden outside along with a gazebo, while the house also features two balconies and a large staircase. The terrace is another highlight of the property, offering a wide view of the greenery surrounding the bungalow. Parmeet was particularly impressed by the scenery and described the view as “no less than Goa.”The family had been searching for another property in Madh Island for some time and had earlier documented their visits to different homes on their respective vlogs. Their latest video now gives viewers a look at the house they eventually decided to buy.Archana and her family have increasingly turned to YouTube over the last couple of years. She began vlogging nearly two years ago, while both her sons have also established their own channels. Speaking about the financial potential of the platform in an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Parmeet said, “If we decide to make this our full-time career, it’ll pay us at least three times more than what films and television together pay us.”He also described the current period as the “era of vlogging” and added, “I heard somewhere that 90% of people turn to YouTube for entertainment, and the remaining 10% includes all television and OTT platforms combined.”
