Actor Blake Lively, in the latest update in her ongoing lawsuit with Justin Baldoni, has reportedly asked the judge to allow the jury to hear allegations that the ‘It Ends With Us’ director made comments about her weight. While Justin has argued that the allegations are “irrelevant” and could prejudice a jury, the actress claimed that the statements are relevant to her case.

As per a report on TMZ, Lively, in her lawsuit, claims that Baldoni contacted her personal trainer allegedly inquiring about her weight due to concerns about his back ahead of filming a scene in which he was required to lift her. Lively has objected to the move, arguing that her claims about the weight-related comments should be heard, as it “provides necessary context for evaluating” her claim that he retaliated against her.Baldoni, however, maintains that any communication with Lively’s trainer was unrelated to allegations that his team engaged in a smear campaign.The judge has not yet ruled on whether the evidence will be admitted at trial.

Meanwhile, as reportedly by Daily Mail, Lively’s prospects in Hollywood are reportedly ‘ruined’ by her ongoing lawsuit. The report quotes an alleged Disney Studios executive claiming, “The truth is she was never that popular. She had a reputation for being difficult, one of those toxic people who always think they know best.”The report went on to add that Lively’s bankability as an actor has also tanked. ‘The general view now is that she’s made her bed and she can lie in it. I don’t think people in Hollywood are shedding tears over her,’ the report stated.Lively and Baldoni have time until 18 May, to either draw up a settlement or to take their battle to court.
