Tamil star Dhanush recently shared a special family picture with his mother and sisters on social media. The actor posed with the three important women in his life and called them his “blessings”.

On Sunday, Dhanush shared the picture on Instagram. His mother and sisters can be seen sitting together, while Dhanush sat on the floor near his mother’s feet. All four of them smiled for the camera and looked happy together.The ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ actor captioned the picture, “My blessings”, along with red and white heart emojis.

About Dhanush’s siblings

Speaking about the actor’s family, he has three siblings. His elder brother, Selvaraghavan, is one of the most respected directors and screenwriters in Tamil cinema. He has played a key role in Dhanush’s acting career. His two sisters, Dr. Karthika Devi and Dr. K. Vimala Geetha, chose a different path and became a doctor instead of joining the film industry.

Danush’s next film ‘OM’

Talking about his upcoming work, Dhanush will be next seen in the upcoming film, ‘OM’ directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The film features Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela as the female leads. Interestingly, the film also includes Malayalam veteran Mammootty, as the makers unveiled his first look a few days ago, on September 7.

‘OM First Strike’ teaser

The makers released a teaser, ‘OM First Strike’ two months ago, which shows a conflict between red sanders woodcutters and some police personnel. Dhanush is seen playing a woodcutter who comes to the rescue when the workers are held at gunpoint.The music of the film is composed by Sai Abhyankkar.It is set to release in theatres on October 16, 2026.Ezhil Arasu handles cinematography, Kalaivanan R is in charge of editing and Kavya Sriram designed the costumes.
