NEW DELHI/LUCKNOW: CM Yogi Adityanath Wednesday invited Japanese companies to make UP their “second home” as the state received a major investment boost with the virtual groundbreaking of two Japan-backed projects worth Rs 3,191 crore in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority region.Addressing the inaugural session of UP-Japan Investment Meet 2026 in New Delhi, Yogi pitched the state as a long-term industrial partner for Japan, calling for cooperation not only in manufacturing but also in technology, research and development, skill development and global supply chains. “We want them to consider UP their second industrial home,” the CM said.
