IBPS RRB Clerk 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is set to begin online registration for the CRP RRBs-XV recruitment process from September 1, 2026. The recruitment drive covers Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts, commonly referred to as RRB Clerk, along with Officer Scale I, II and III positions in participating Regional Rural Banks.The registration window is expected to remain open until September 21, 2026. Officer Scale I preliminary examinations are scheduled for November 21 and 22, followed by the main examination on December 20. Officer Scale II and III examinations are also scheduled for December 20.

Eligibility and age limitFor Office Assistant, candidates are expected to be aged between 18 and 28 years and hold a graduation degree in any discipline. Based on previous recruitment cycles, the practical expected range for Office Assistant vacancies is around 6,000 to 8,500. This is an estimate and should not be treated as the confirmed CRP RRBs-XV vacancy count.Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar have historically featured among states with substantial vacancy numbers, although the final distribution will be known only after IBPS publishes the notification.Selection for Office Assistant comprises preliminary and main examinations. Reasoning and Numerical Ability contain 40 questions each. A penalty of 0.25 marks applies for every incorrect answer.The main examination carries 200 questions for 200 marks and includes Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English or Hindi and Computer Knowledge.
